If anyone attempts to take control of the operation of your mind and body - walk away. Chinese Ch'an is notorious for its independent nature and pays no interest to inter-personal relations. A Ch'an Master is disinterested and continuously reveals the 'host' in the midst of the 'guest' - with a total indifference to individualism.
